She has been DNA tested, her results are below.  She is currently in boarding until a foster or forever home is located.  She has a great personality and is a real sweetie.  She doesn’t like all dogs so she should be introduced to any other dogs in the household or be the only dog in the home.  She is great with kids.

Bella’s DNA results:

  • 37-74% American Staffordshire Terrier
  • 10-19% Boston Terrier
  • less than 10% Boxer, Chihuahua, German Shorthaired Pointer

Skyye

Skyye is a young, beautiful blue brindle girl. She is very sweet and
has a joyful pittie personality. She was so loved at the Floyd County shelter–she followed her guardian around gladly and greeted volunteers enthusiastically. Everyone loved beautiful Skyye–but she was pittie so it was a struggle to find her a rescue. After all she has been through, Skyye has found the real rescue she needs but she would love to find a foster or forever home!

Roxy

Roxy 02
Roxy has been adopted! She was with us for a while, so we are so thrilled that she has found her new home!

Roxy is nothing less than a sweetheart.  Her buddy Maggie was recently adopted so we had to find her another play date.

update: The DNA results are in… Roxy is approx. 75% American Staffordshire Terrier and approx. 25% Chinese Shar Pei. Roxy knows how to “sit” and “stay”. She is friends with Maggie :) Apparently young boy(s) were mean to Roxy because she doesn’t care for boys around age 7 to 12. Roxy has been spayed and is UTD on shots. Currently on heartworm prevention and flea/tick prevention. Roxy is in boarding until a foster/forever home is found for her.

original: Roxy was pulled from Carteret County Humane Society in NC and is being transported to us, in GA on Mother’s Day 2010. From Carteret County HS…She has shown no aggressions with the dogs we have matched her with, but still be cautious as she has been kenneled for a long time and has energy to burn! She seems to be OK with cats.
