URGENT!!!!!!!!!! Luna needs Foster/Adopter. Luna was saved from the middle of the road in Douglas County, GA by a good Samaritan. She was standing there and then her legs gave out and she collapsed. The good Samaritan called us (BullyWag, Inc.) to see if we could help this dog. We will do anything that we can (and are able to) do for a pittie dog in need. She’s been at our vet getting treatment and boarding since April 12, 2011. Her diagnosis: x-ray didn’t show any broken bones, but Luna rarely stands on her four feet. It appears that her last birthing of puppies was difficult and injured her hips/back. She’s receiving steroid injections to relieve some of the stress and pain associated with her injury. She’s really skinny, so after she gains a few pounds and is in better health, she will be spayed. She is a real sweetie…very quiet…only hear her tail thumping as she wags it when she hears someone approaching. The injections she’s been given are $37.60 each and her spay will cost approx. $190. Injured back and in boarding. Needs proper excercise!!!
